Where are you located?
I am located in Sydney, Australia. I work at Omolu Studio located at 59 Clare St, Surry Hills. Omolu Studio is a proudly queer friendly space!
When I take guest spots in other countries I’ll post about it on my Instagram.

How do I book a tattoo with you?
Fill out the booking form or send me a DM on Instagram with your idea.
You can expect a reply within 3 business days.

What types of tattoos do you do?
I work in both black and colour ink. I enjoy tattooing animals, abstract
forms (cybersigilsm), freehand designs, and the occasional goofy doodle.
I also work with religious, nsfw, and queer subject matter. Transgender
specific iconography is a keen interest of mine. My forte is in
anything requiring line-work and my own flash. While I do have
specialties, I ultimately enjoy working on all types of projects.

How do flash designs work?
Flash designs are pre-drawn tattoos that are ready to go as is. Sizing and placement is entirely up to you!
Can I bring my own design for you to tattoo?
Yes! If you drew your own design and want me to tattoo it, I’d be more than happy to do so. Even if the drawing is just a quick sketch of an idea, we can work it into a tatoo-able design. For other people’s art, please message me as I take it on a case by case basis.
How much will my tattoo cost?
I charge $170ph with a $170 minimum. Full day sessions are 10am to 4pm (6hrs) which are capped at a $900 flat rate.
I provide quotes once I know all the details: design, size, and placement. Quotes are a range from the least to the most amount of time needed to complete your tattoo. This is usually a difference of an hour. As everyone’s skin condition and tolerance to pain is different, having a range accommodates for these variances. It also gives you the space to make major changes to the design or even size up from your original plan without straying from the session’s budget.
If you would like to stay within a budget let me know and we can work to a flat rate. You’re more than welcome to inquire about a quote so you can plan ahead even if you’re not sure you want to commit just yet.

How does the deposit work?
All bookings require a $100 deposit which comes off the total price of your tattoo. The deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to another date with at least 72hrs notice. I am not able to refund or transfer a deposit for cancellations and reschedules with less than 72hrs notice.
The deposit is payable via bank transfer and must be paid at the time of confirming an appointment date.
Please ensure you are in a position to receive a tattoo before making a booking request.
As with all appointment based practices, deposits ensure that cancellations or no-shows are avoided and allows me to reserve dates for you in advance.

Do you do custom work?
Yes and I’m honored you would trust me with your design. Custom pieces tend to attract a higher price than flash to account for the design process. Additionally, it will never be repeated on anyone else. To book in for a custom please be as descriptive as possible about the design you envision.

If possible, include reference images of the subject and style you’re after. For example, an image of a frog sitting on a rock with another image of a tattoo style you like.

Include the approximate size in centimeters and desired placement. I’ll be sure to check that I understand your vision before confirming a booking date. After everything is confirmed and a deposit has been paid I will begin working on your design!

Can I see my custom design before the appointment?
As is general practice for the tattoo industry, customs are not shown over messages or email prior to the appointment. However, you can come in person to the studio to view drafts of the design. If you’d like to do so shoot me an email to organise a time.

You will have ample time during your appointment to make edits to the design, ensure the placement is correct, and get the sizing just right. Unless major edits are requested (eg. complete style or composition changes) I don’t charge for this time!

I understand that custom tattoos are an exercise of trust in me as an artist. For this, I ask that you please ensure you’re familiar with my previous work and like my drawing style before requesting a custom. If you’re nervous leaving the design up to me, make sure to send plenty of references and detailed descriptions of the poses/composition so I’m fully on the same page as you. Customs are a collaborative effort so more detail is better that too little! I will never put you in a position where you feel you can’t change your mind.

I need to re-book!
If you need to reschedule please let me know as soon as you realise you need to move the date, the earlier the better. I don’t bite! Life happens, it’s okay :~)
Your initial deposit will be transferred to the new booking provided I have been notified within 72hrs of original date.
All reschedules with less than 72hrs notice forfeit the original deposit and will require a new $100 deposit to be paid to secure an additional date. As always, this deposit also comes off the total price of your tattoo.
In the event you’re rescheduling for the second time, I cannot transfer any deposits regardless of how much notice is given and a new deposit will be needed for further bookings.
I try as best as I can to accommodate booking changes as I know life is unpredictable however, I ask that you make sure you’re in a position to receive a tattoo prior to making a booking.

Do you have merch?
I currently don’t have merch. However, my beloved partner’s ready to wear label is available for purchase at lucastucci.com. I do have stickers which are free! You can ask for them during our session.

How do I prepare for my tattoo?

  • If possible, moisturise every day for 1 week leading to your appointment
  • Do not shave, wax, or otherwise remove your hair 24hrs before your appointment
  • Avoid alcohol and party drugs 24hrs before your appointment
  • Eat a full meal at least 3hrs before your appointment

You can take as many breaks as needed during your session. Lunch breaks will not be counted towards the total time of your session and you will not be charged for them.
It’s always best to block out most the day for your tattoo even if you’re only getting something small. Sometimes tattoos take longer than expected so it’ll make your experience easier by avoiding time pressures.
Please advise me prior to your booking if any accommodations need to be made (e.g  space for a service animal, if you’d like to bring a friend)

Do I have to talk during my tattoo?
Once we start the tattoo feel free to put in headphones, read a book, or even have a snooze. I’ll check in occasionally to make sure you’re comfortable but you never should feel obliged to chat if you don’t want to.

What about numbing cream?
It is illegal for all tattooists in NSW to supply or apply numbing cream on you as it is a scheduled medication. You are welcome to bring and apply your own numbing cream but you do so at your own risk. Please advise me before your appointment if you intend to use numbing cream. Note that all anesthetics carry risk of an allergic reaction or overdose if used improperly. I personally have no issue with numbing cream in terms of how it affects the skin and my own tattooing process, I only want you guys to be informed and safe!

I didn’t get a reply to my email/booking form submission?
Make sure to whitelist my email address, olympiaschulte@outlook.com, or check your spam folders if you didn’t receive a reply to your form. I reply very regularly so if you haven’t gotten a response within 3 business days shoot me another email / check spam folders. You can also DM me on Instagram if your emails don’t seem to be coming through.

I advocate for having a safe and welcoming experience in all tattoo spaces for both clients and artists. My tattoo space is very much queer safe and any LGBTQ+ phobia will not be tolerated. Do not be afraid to voice any concerns or ask for your needs to be met. If you’re made to feel bad for experiencing pain during your tattoo with another artist, please let me know. The tattoo community has no space for abusers.
Additionally, all accommodations can be made so you don’t have show parts of your body you don’t want to. For example, if you’re getting a chest tattoo, you don’t need to completely take off your shirt. Please advocate for yourself with artists who insist otherwise and don’t be afraid to walk out on an artist who makes you feel uncomfortable or unheard.
I’m also not elitist about tattoo styles. All styles, even if they’re not to your personal taste, can be achieved with skill and longevity as a tattoo. Neither is better than the other; adorn yourself with art that makes you feel good. Everyone deserves to have a enjoyable and consensual experience and I urge that you hold all artists and shop owners to this standard.

The studio is in a building that is not wheelchair accessible at the entrance as we are above ground floor and have a flight of stairs. The studio itself is level and has no steps in the tattoo bay or bathroom. The tattoo bed is height adjustable and for some placements you can opt to be tattooed in your wheelchair. The studio often has music playing as some artists find it useful to focus on their work. I suggest bringing noise cancelling earplugs for this. Additionally, I sometimes need a bright ring light to see better as I’m working on your tattoo. I suggest a sleep mask or clothes to cover your eyes if it gets overstimulating.
