Where are you based?
I am located in Sydney. I currently work at Fun Rabbit (formerly known as Little Art Tattoo) at 34 Norton St, Leichhardt. When I take guest spots in other cities I’ll
post about it on my Instagram.

How do I book a tattoo with you?
Fill out the booking form or send me a DM on Instagram with your idea.
You can expect a reply within 3 business days.  If your idea doesn’t pertain to my illustrative style that’s okay too, I’m open to working with all styles.

Do you do custom work?
Yes and I’m honored you would trust me with your design. Custom pieces tend to attract a higher price than flash. Additionally, it will never be repeated on anyone else. To book in for a custom please be as descriptive as possible about the design you envision.

If possible, include reference images of the subject and style you’re after. For example, an image of a frog sitting on a rock with another image of a drawing/tattoo style you like.

Include the approximate size in centimeters as well as desired placement. I’ll be sure to check that I understand your vision before confirming a booking date. After everything is confirmed and a deposit has been paid I will begin working on your design!

I understand that custom tattoos are an exercise of trust in me as an artist. For this, I ask that you please ensure you’re familiar with my previous work and like my drawing style before requesting a custom. However, don’t be afraid to request something in a style you haven’t seen me do before, I’m always up for a challenge. I’ll always be honest if anything is not in my wheelhouse and direct you to a more suitable artist.

What types of tattoos do you do?
I work in both black and colour ink. I enjoy tattooing animals, abstract sigils (cybersigilsm), freehand designs, and the occasional goofy doodle. I also work with religious, nsfw, and queer subject matter. Trans specific iconography is a keen interest of mine. :~) My forte is in anything requiring linework. While I do have specialties, I ultimately enjoy working on all types of subjects.

How does the deposit work?
All bookings require a $100 deposit. The deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to another date with at least 72hrs notice. It comes off the total price of the tattoo. The deposit is payable via bank transfer and must be paid at the time of confirming an appointment date.
Please ensure you are in a position to receive a tattoo before making a booking request.
As with all appointment based practices, deposits ensure that cancellations or no-shows are avoided. Your deposit allows me to reserve dates for you in advance.
You’re more than welcome to inquire about my availability without putting down a deposit however, I can’t guarantee that your desired dates will be available when you’re ready to book in.

How do flash designs work?
Flash designs are pre-drawn tattoos that are ready to go as is. Sizing and placement is entirely up to you!

Can I bring my own design for you to tattoo?
Yes! If you drew your own design and want me to tattoo it, I’d be more than happy to do so. Even if the drawing is just a quick sketch of an idea, we can work it into a tatoo-able design. For other people’s art, please message me as I take it on a case by case basis.

I need to re-book!
If you need to reschedule please let me know as soon as you realise you need to move the date, the earlier the better. I don’t bite! Life happens, it’s okay :~)
Your initial deposit will be transferred to the new booking provided I have been notified within 72hrs of original date.
All reschedules with less than 72hrs notice forfeit the original deposit and will require a new $100 deposit to be paid to secure an additional date. As always, this deposit also comes off the total price of your tattoo.
In the event you’re rescheduling for the second time, I cannot transfer any deposits regardless of how much notice is given and a deposit will be needed for further bookings.
I try as best as I can to accommodate booking changes as I know life is unpredictable however, I ask that you make sure you’re in a position to receive a tattoo prior to making a booking.

Do you have merch?
I currently don’t have merch. However, my beloved partner’s ready to wear label is available for purchase at lucastucci.com. I do have stickers which are free! You can ask for them during our session.

Do I have to talk during my tattoo session / How do I prepare for my tattoo session?
Once we start the tattoo, you are more than welcome to put headphones in, read a book, go on your phone, or even have a snooze. I’ll check in occasionally to make sure you’re comfortable and also a lunch break for longer sessions.

Leading up to your tattoo, you can make your experience easier by moisturizing, getting plenty of sleep, and avoiding alcohol and party drugs 24hrs before the booking. The day of your tattoo, make sure to eat something before hand and feel free to bring snacks. You can take as many breaks as needed during your session. Lunch breaks will not be counted towards the total time of your session and you will not be charged for them. Please don’t shave or wax the day before and day of your appointment.

It’s always best to block out most the day for your tattoo even if you’re only getting something small. Sometimes tattoos take longer than expected so it’ll make your experience easier by avoiding time pressures.

Please advise me prior to your booking if any accommodations need to be made (e.g a private room, space for a service animal, no speaker music)

What about numbing cream?
It is illegal for all tattooists in NSW to supply or apply numbing cream on you as it is a scheduled medication. You are welcome to bring and apply your own numbing cream but you do so at your own risk. Please advise me before your appointment if you intend to use numbing cream. Note that all anesthetics carry risk of an allergic reaction or overdose if used improperly. I personally have no issue with numbing cream in terms of how it affects the skin and my own tattooing process, I only want you guys to be informed and safe!

I didn’t get a reply to my email/booking form submission?
Make sure to whitelist my email address, olympiaschulte@outlook.com, or check your spam folders if you didn’t receive a reply to your form. I reply very regularly so if you haven’t gotten a response within 3 days shoot me a direct email / check spam folders. You can also DM me on Instagram if your emails don’t seem to be coming through.

I advocate for having a safe and welcoming experience in all tattoo spaces for both clients and artists.  I am welcoming of all people regardless of background, sexuality, and gender. Do not be afraid to voice any concerns or ask for your needs to be met.
If you’re made to feel bad for experiencing pain during your tattoo with another artist, please let me know. The tattoo community no longer has space for abusers.
Additionally, all accommodations can be made so you don’t have show parts of your body you don’t want to. For example, if you’re getting a chest tattoo, you don’t need to completely take off your shirt. Please advocate for yourself with artists who insist otherwise and don’t be afraid to walk out on an artist who makes you feel uncomfortable or unheard.
I’m also not elitist about tattoo styles. All styles, even if they’re not to your personal taste, can be achieved with skill and longevity as a tattoo. Neither is better than the other; adorn yourself with art that makes you feel good.
Everyone deserves to have a enjoyable and consensual experience and I urge that you hold all artists and shop owners to this standard.

The studio I work in is in a building that is not wheelchair accessible at the entrance as there are a short set of stairs to get in. The bathroom is also not wheelchair accessible. It has 3 steps to get in and isn’t big enough to fit a wheelchair inside. There is a wheelchair accessible bathroom at the shopping mall 1min away. However, if you can navigate short sets of stairs, my own tattoo room is fully wheelchair accessible. There is plenty of room for maneuvering and the tattoo bed is height adjustable. Alternatively, for some placements you can opt to be tattooed in your wheelchair or a table chair. If you have a carer they are always welcome to sit in for your tattoo session.
Speaker music is optional and you can request it to be turned off at any time.
