Where are you located?
I’m located in Sydney, Australia. I’m currently guesting around at different studios in the city each month. When booking in I’ll let you know where our session will be at.

How do I book a tattoo with you?
Bookings can be made via the booking form on my site, Instagram DMs, or email. You can expect a reply within 3 business days. If I haven’t gotten back to you, check your spam box or bump your message!

What types of tattoos do you do?
I work in both black and coloured ink. I enjoy tattooing animals, abstract forms (cybersigilsm), freehand designs, and the occasional goofy doodle. I’m also happy to work with nsfw and queer subject matter. Trans specific iconography is a keen interest of mine. My forte is in anything requiring line-work and my own flash. While I do have specialties, I ultimately enjoy working on all types of projects.

What is flash?
Flash designs are pre-drawn tattoos that are ready to go as is. Sizing and placement is entirely up to you! As is the nature of flash they may be repeated however, you can request alterations if you’d like a unique design.

Can I bring my own design for you to tattoo?
Yes! If you drew your own design and want me to tattoo it, I’d be more than happy to do so. Even if the drawing is just a quick sketch of an idea, we can work it into a tatoo-able design. For other people’s art, please message me as I take it on a case by case basis.

Do you do custom work?
Yes and I’m honored you would trust me with your design. Custom pieces tend to be priced higher than flash to account for the design process. Customs are never repeated on anyone else.

To book in for a custom please be as descriptive as possible about the
design you envision. Where you can, please include as many reference images as possible. The more information you give the better!

Include the desired placement, approximate size in centimeters or upload an example tattoo for sizing. I’ll be sure to check that I understand your vision before confirming a booking date. After everything is confirmed and a deposit has been sent I will begin working on your design!

Deposit Policy
All bookings require a $100 deposit which comes off the total price of your tattoo. The deposit is non-refundable. However, it can be transferred to another date with at least 72hrs notice prior to your booking (please see the “rescheduling” FAQ for further details).

The deposit is payable via bank transfer and must be paid at the time of confirming an appointment date.

Please ensure you’re in a position to receive a tattoo before making a booking request. Deposits ensure that cancellations or no-shows are avoided and allow me to reserve dates for you in advance.

Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule please let me know as soon as you can, the earlier the better. I don’t bite! Life happens, it’s okay :~)
Your initial deposit will be transferred to the new booking provided I have been notified within 72hrs of original date.
All reschedules with less than 72hrs notice forfeit the original deposit and will require a new $100 deposit to secure an additional date. As always, this new deposit also comes off the total price of your tattoo.

If you wish to reschedule, and I have been notified within 72hrs, your deposit will be honored until you are able to book in again.

I try as best as I can to accommodate booking changes as I know life is unpredictable however, I ask that you make sure you’re in a position to receive a tattoo prior to making a booking.

How much will my tattoo cost?
I price at a flat rate which will vary between designs. My minimum rate is $170. I take into consideration the complexity, time expected to complete, size, and placement. Each of these components affect the skill and time needed for the tattoo (eg. some placements are more difficult and take more time). So for this reason I charge at a flat rate to avoid long hourly rates!

Tattoos requiring a full day session are capped at $950. Full day sessions start at 11am and typically finish around 5pm (start times can be adjusted).

I prefer to finish my pieces in one sitting where I can but for some projects (eg. big back/torso pieces, sleeves, very large sizes or very detailed designs) multiple sessions may be needed. This is so I’m always tattooing at my best and so you’re able to sit well for each session. I always want to give my clients carefully crafted tattoos that will be with them forever rather than pieces that are rushed through. During the consult process I’ll let you know if your idea will require more than one full day session and we can discuss options from there :~)

If you would like to stay within a budget just let me know and if needed I can give you designs suggestions that work for you.

Can I see my custom design before the appointment?
As is general practice for the tattoo industry, customs are not shown over messages or email prior to the appointment. This is to avoid the rare but unfortunate scenario of custom work being given to another artist to do without the original creator’s permission. However, you can come in person to the studio to view drafts of the design. If you’d like to do so please let me know at the time of making a booking as I’m not always able to find last minute time slots.

You will have ample time during your appointment to make edits to the design. Unless major edits are requested (eg. complete style, design, or composition changes) I don’t charge for this time.

I understand that custom tattoos are an exercise of trust in me as an artist. For this, I ask that you please ensure you’re familiar with my previous work and like my drawing style before requesting a custom. If you’re nervous leaving the design up to me, make sure to send plenty of references and detailed descriptions of the poses/composition so I’m fully on the same page as you. Customs are a collaborative effort so more detail is better that too little! I will never put you in a position where you feel you can’t change your mind.

Do I have to talk during my tattoo?
Once we start the tattoo feel free to put in headphones, read a book, or even have a snooze. I’ll check in occasionally to make sure you’re comfortable but you never should feel obliged to chat if you don’t want to, just let me know :~)

What about numbing cream?
Tattoo artists in NSW aren’t allowed to supply or apply numbing cream as it is a Schedule 2 product. Please advise me before your appointment if you intend to use numbing cream.
If you’d like to use numbing cream note that you do so at your own risk. Numbing cream affects everyone differently so make sure to do your research on potential side effects, risks, and the proper use of the cream. I only want you guys to be informed and safe!

Touchups
Everyone’s skin reacts differently to ink and sometimes touchups may be needed if your lines have healed too light. As such, touchups are complimentary within 2.5 months of your appointment as I always want your tattoos to look the best they can. To book in a touchup, send me a photo of the tattoo and we can discuss options from there.

Keep in mind, not all tattoos need touchups. Some works have intentionally lighter areas (like shading) if the design calls for it. Usually it’s very obvious if you need a touchup, such as a randomly faded spot amongst lots of dark linework. If you’re not sure send me a photo.

Some areas of the body are more prone to fall out and fading due to frequent contact friction and exposure to the sun. These areas include: all parts of the hand/palm, all parts of the feet/soles/heel, inner lip, and ear. Touchups in these areas are typically charged at the minimum rate depending on the size of the design. You’ll be informed of the associated risks of getting tattoos in these areas and potential touchup costs.

If you’d like to touchup a tattoo done by someone else it’s usually best to contact the original artist but in situations where you can’t I’m always happy to discuss your options. Touchups for work that isn’t my own are charged at my normal rates.

Please ensure you carefully follow the given aftercare routine. Circumstantially, touchups that are needed for poor aftercare (eg. swimming, lots of sun exposure, picking at scabs, itching the tattoo) are charged at my normal rates. Check out my aftercare section for more info.

I didn’t get a reply to my email/booking form submission?
Make sure to whitelist my email address, olympiaschulte@outlook.com, or check your spam folders if you didn’t receive a reply to your form. On Instagram, check your message requests tab and hidden messages tab. I reply very regularly so if you haven’t gotten a response within 3 business days shoot me another email or message.

Do you have merch?
I currently don’t have merch. However, my beloved partner’s ready to wear label is available for purchase at lucastucci.com. I do have stickers which are free! You can grab them during our session.

I advocate for having a safe and welcoming experience in all tattoo spaces for both clients and artists. My tattoo space is very much queer safe and any LGBTQ+ phobia will not be tolerated. Do not be afraid to voice any concerns or ask for your needs to be met. If you’re made to feel bad for experiencing pain during your tattoo with another artist, please let me know. The tattoo community has no space for abusers.
Additionally, all accommodations can be made so you don’t have show parts of your body you don’t want to. For example, if you’re getting a chest tattoo, you don’t need to completely take off your shirt. Please advocate for yourself with artists who insist otherwise and don’t be afraid to walk out on an artist who makes you feel uncomfortable or unheard.
I’m also not elitist about tattoo styles. All styles, even if they’re not to your personal taste, can be achieved with skill and longevity as a tattoo. Neither is better than the other; adorn yourself with art that makes you feel good. Everyone deserves to have a enjoyable and consensual experience and I urge that you hold all artists and shop owners to this standard.

I’m currently unable to provide accurate accessibility info as I am hopping between guest spots. This section will be updated as soon as I’ve determined a studio to settle down in! If you have any concerns in the meantime please get in touch.
